Washington Brewers Guild , notorious in Seattle for their support of the brewring community and their annual festivals, reached out to us looking for branding for their new est festival, Harvest Fest.
Taking place in September 2026, the innagural event will be an intimate affair at Stoup Brewing on Capital Hill, celebrating not only the fresh hop harvest season, but all the amazing agricultur of Washington state and it’s contribution to the brewing process.
Wanting to highlight the magical bounty of mother nature and honor centuries of harvest celebrations, we took inspiration from the swirl of hop vines in this custom lettering, along with blackletter caligraphy in the letterforms to give a meideival nod to the branding. We paired this with a modern monospaced serif to highlight the juxtaposition of old and new.
